Privacy, in plain English.

The short version: your invoices, clients, and business data live on your device. We don't have them. We can't see them, sell them, or lose them — and we can't hold them hostage.

The app

• No accounts. Slap Invoice has no sign-up, no login, no email field.
• No servers. Documents, clients, and settings are stored locally on your device. PDFs you generate are saved to your Files app / your iCloud Drive.
• Slap Cloud (optional) syncs your data between your devices using your own Apple iCloud account (Apple CloudKit). The data goes from your device to your iCloud — never to us. Apple's privacy policy governs iCloud.
• Purchases are processed by Apple. We receive anonymous transaction confirmations, never your payment details.
• No tracking. The app contains no ads, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no data brokers.

This website

• We use PostHog for anonymous traffic analytics (page views, button clicks). No advertising trackers, no cross-site anything.
• If you join the waitlist, we store your email (and, if you choose, which app you're switching from) with our form provider (Netlify) and use it for one launch email plus essential beta communication. Unsubscribe = reply "stop" or click unsubscribe; we delete on request.

Your rights

Email linda@sayhellotolinda.com to ask what we hold about you (for most people: one email address, or nothing) or to have it deleted. We answer within a week, usually faster.

Changes

If this policy materially changes, the date above changes and the new version lives at this URL. We will never quietly weaken the "your data is yours" promises — they're the product.
